Tambo - Ceremonial House
We are doing a "Green" remodel of the tambo and adding a rainwater bath house. Here are photos of our journey.

Excavation for the Rain Water Tank and Outdoor Shower

The new arroyo creates a water harvesting opportunity for bamboo gardens off the bathhouse.

A "Hamlin's Wizard Oil" Bottle was unearthed during the excavation in pristine condition. We "googled" it to find the magic elixir was made in the 1870's in Chicago and was dispersed around the country by Traveling Medicine Shows. Another gift and treasure from the land.

We created a retaining wall to channel the rain waters. We call it "Annie's Aquaduct". In a good rain the arroyo turns into the Rio Bravo. The water will flow into bamboo gardens on the side of the bathhouse and deck.
