Directions to Turning Stones Ranch

 

From SOUTH AUSTIN I-35 and Mopac: 

Traveling South of Austin, take 290 West towards Fredricksberg/ Johnson City/ Dripping Springs.  Stay on the Freeway until it ends in Oak Hill.

Continue on 290 for another 5 miles past the "Y" and turn RIGHT onto Fitzhugh Road (the 5th Stop Light)

Stay on Fitzhugh (County Rd 101) for approx. 13 miles and go straight through stop signs at Trautwein, RR 12, and MacGregor.) 

At the 4th stop sign continue STRAIGHT  onto Sycamore Creek Drive. (Fitzhugh makes a hard right.) 

Sycarmore Creek Dr. winds around for about 2 miles until you see the signs that say:  "Low Water Crossing" and "One Lane Bridge"   Go over the low water crossing and make an immediate RIGHT over a second one lane bridge.  You will still be on Sycamore Creek Road. Continue a short distance to the top of the Hill.   

Turn RIGHT at the stop sign (the sign says Lost Valley)    Our entrance is the 3rd Driveway on the right, just past the bamboo fence. 118 Overlook Cove. Please park along the cul-de sac.

 

From WESTLAKE, Lakeway, Marble Falls, Spicewood, Bee Cave: 

Take  Bee Caves Rd or 620 to the "T" at Hwy 71.  Turn RIGHT on 71 and proceed to Hamilton Pool Rd. (1st Stoplight West of 620)

Turn LEFT onto Hamilton Pool Rd. and proceed several miles to RR 12. 

Turn LEFT onto Ranch Road 12 .  In a few miles, look for signs for Co Rd 101,  Fitzhugh Road

Turn RIGHT onto Fitzhugh and continue straight, through the 4 way stop sign at MacGregor.

From San Marcos, Wimberley, Dripping Springs: 

Take RR 12 through Dripping Springs.  After passing the school, look for signs for CO Rd 101, which is also Fitzhugh Road. 

Turn LEFT onto Fitzhugh Rd. and go straight at the 4 way stop sign at MacGregor.  

At the 3 way stop sign bear LEFT onto Sycamore Creek Drive (101 makes a hard right).
